Bendex Suite of Software is designed for the Metal Forming industry. Bendex covers Sales, Production Tracking and Machine interfaces. If you are currently carrying a 2x4 with pictures hand drawn on them to your shop to ask the machine operator to make a part, Bendex is for you.
Bendex Shop provides a Sales Platform for your team. Selecting the correct customer ensures that pricing deals for your customer is applied as the Shopping Cart is created. There is a history of Quotes and Orders which can be pulled up for duplicating orders. Quotes that were previously created can be turned into an order by loading the Quote into the Cart and creating a new order. Status's of existing orders can be viewed directly in Shop. A catalog of your standard parts is available for simple part selection into an order. All of your Accessories can be included in your Catalog. Customers also have a "custom" items storage area for saving unique trims.
Bendex Shop can work with 2D Profiles and 3D box components. Each type can be left as fully customizable or can be turned into a template where you have control of part sizes and options.
Bendex Web provides your customers with a portal to view their account. This provides them with the same features of Bendex Shop while keeping their account separate from your other customers. They have the ability to create a quote at anytime of day that includes any special pricing agreements. They can create Custom profiles in the profile editor, including the ability to place holes, notches and create taper parts if you allow them access to those functions. Bendex Web works on any web browser as well as mobile devices. The screen will resize very nicely to the device being used.
Bendex Production allows your staff to view all current orders in the shop, update status of an order, print additional reports and schedule new orders to your machines. Production takes an order and breaks it down to tasks that must be performed in your shop. When a complete order is scheduled each machine is assigned a task with an appropriate amount of time allocated to the task. As the operator beings the task they can click into the task to start tracking actual time, see the specifics of the task and when complete they can record where they put the parts they created. This gives your management team a clear view of what is happening in the shop.
Bendex has created profiles for 40+ machines from Folders to Slitters. Exports can also be created for machines that need CAD files such as water jets and punching machines. Bendex creates machine interfaces for some manufactures of folders as well so they have a very tight integration. Profiles can be pulled up via a scan gun to bring the profile to the machine in a ready to bend format. Integration with Krasser Slitters allows for blanking trim from the coil with labeling each part.
Bendex Management is the interface to the database. You can completely customize your Bendex Suite. Everything from Customers to Fasteners are created in Management.
The Bendex ERP interface allows for Bendex to communicate with other systems. This is a industry standard XML or JSON rest interface which in plain language means a developer can request information from the service and send new information into Bendex from other systems. At Datus we use Dell Boomi's platform and have created an interface to both Quickbooks Desktop and Online editions. This allows for Orders to show up in Quickbooks or other ERP's like SAP or Netsuite depending on your company's needs.
